I'm a surface designer. Floxie is where I bring together everything that catches my eye: color, pattern, place, and the small details that turn a house into a home.
I design for licensing — textiles, wallpaper, paper goods, kids' product, home. If a collection sparks an idea for your line, I'd love to hear about it.

What do you notice first in the world?
I always see the details first — the light, the shapes, the tiny patterns in nature. Seasons changing, mountains, water, flowers… they all spark ideas.
What do you want people to feel when they live with your art?
Joy and a little bit of whimsy. My style leans colorful and feminine, and I hope the bright palettes and playful compositions bring people a sense of inspiration in their everyday spaces.
When you're really in your creative flow, what does it look like?
Once the house is quiet, I grab a big coffee, turn on some music, and settle in with my paints or my computer. My two vizslas curl up at my feet, and I can work for hours when I'm undistracted.
What do you find yourself returning to again and again in your work?
Pinks, greens, and oranges always make an appearance. Owls do too — inspired by a family of owls that lived in a palm tree near our home in California when my boys were little.
Can you describe one moment, place, or experience that shaped your sense of style?
We lived near the Amalfi Coast for five years — the ocean, white hillside homes, lemon ceramics, deep blues, and the slow, sunlit way of life. I still pull from that palette and energy today.
When your art enters someone's home, what do you hope it brings with it?
A sense of calm and beauty. I love abstract landscapes — vivid colors balanced with neutrals, shadows, and light — pieces that invite someone to pause, think, and feel a little more grounded.
The name is two words folded together. Fl for flowers — pretty things. Oxie from moxie — strength, resilience, the kind that gets things done.
Two ideas joined into one: women can be beautiful and strong at the same time.
I hope that comes through in the work.
